The name
gawlo concept
Gawlo is short for Gawłowicz. Concept is the way I work — every event has its own light, mood and story, and I shoot it as one coherent piece, not a set of random frames.
I'm Kuba. Three years ago I brought a camera to a friend's gig and never stopped. I catch what you can't see from the audience — the tension before the first note, the light cutting through smoke, the moment right after.
Philosophy
Quiet stages
From the crowd, you see the show. From where I stand, I see everything else — the breath before the drop, the grin backstage, the light hitting smoke instead of skin.
No flash, no direction, no posed smiles. I work with what's already there — stage light, shadow, the moment before it's gone. If a photo looks staged, I've done it wrong.
